Tyrol, a diversified Heaven for Incentive Groups...

June 2007

Tyrol, which was called \"Land im Gebirge\" (Land in the Mountains) in medieval times -- is an Eldorado for lovers of winter sports and mountains. But not only have the Tyrolean Alps attracted millions of visitors each year. It is the great combination of the beautiful alpine landscapes, rich culture, thermal springs and international events that make Tyrol a unique incentive destination.  Its diversity offers great opportunities for teambuilding and leisure activities of all kind.

What makes Tyrol so special for Winter Incentives? The five Tyrolean Glaciers
When there are still no signs of snow in the valley, things are already getting lively on the Tyrolean glaciers of Ötztal, Kaunertal, Hintertux, Stubai and Pitztal. On Tyrolean’s glaciers snow is guaranteed 365 days of the year so your teambuilding or leisure program will be assured.

Create an unforgettable event with extraordinary teambuilding activities

Ice climbing/Waterfall Climbing
Daredevil adventure-seekers will definitely get satisfied. Ice climbing is a way of discovering your own limits. Practice, experience, control of your body and a shot of daring will lead to your goal – while expert supervision from an experienced mountain guide makes this adventure exceptionally safe.

Bungy running
Complete a variety of tasks with a 12-15 meter-long rubber cord attached to your body. You need all your strength and power not to be pulled back by the rope and to be thrown through the snow. This activity is big fun for all participants!

Snow bike
The snow bike is a further development of the skibob, particularly well-suited for non-skiers who want to experience the fun of sliding downhill on snow. But also for skiers a ride on the snow bike is a fun experience.

Snowshoe hikes
Experience the untamed romance of trudging through the snow and the beautiful winter landscape in your grandfather’s footsteps, sporting snowshoes that look like somewhat overgrown tennis rackets. Today you can take advantage of more modern versions, made of aluminium or other lightweight materials.

Quad bike driving
Quad – motor sports are favorite activities for men and women. You can test your control with skills and the power of the quad. You drive over different obstacles, between rocks and tree-trunks. Many more challenges are waiting for you on the way through the landscape.

Snowmobile driving
An amazing adventure is waiting for your clients. After some short important instructions get on your snowmobiles and feel the speed-kick.
Feel the snow in a different dimension – with high speed it is like ‘flying’ through the snow!

Ice-cart driving
Another high-speed challenge. Ice-carts are go-carts with spikes on their tires to make it possible to race on an ice-track. So jump into the carts and enjoy the race of your lifetime!

Dog Sledging Course
Return \"Back to nature\" and ride on our dog sledges on slopes through unspoiled winter landscapes. Enjoy your first ride through the Alps after learning the first techniques of dog sledging.

Tyrol’s resorts
Nestling amid beautiful landscapes between 590 m and 2020 m above sea level, the towns offer an inviting mix of outdoor activities and culture as well as rest and relaxation.

Innsbruck – The Capital of the Alps is the region’s all-in-one culture and sports Mecca
Keen on mountains or culture vulture? Mediaeval lanes or urban shopping? In Innsbruck - the capital of the Alps, home of the winter Olympics 1964 and 1976 you can do and get everything you could possibly desire. Because the countryside starts right on the town\'s doorsteps and sports events go hand in hand with cultural highlights.

Seefeld
The name “Olympia region Seefeld” has become one of great significance in the heart of Tyrol. It is said to be a mini paradise. Situated on a high, sunny plateau at 1,200 m above sea level, surrounded by virtually pristine mountain nature, Seefeld certainly is a genuine paradise for all who know how to appreciate recreation and sport, a healthy climate and stunning panoramic views. 250 km of cross-country trails, 35 km of Alpine ski slopes for beginners and professionals and 80 km of winter hiking trails through a region which becomes magically transformed by the snow. In summer, too, Seefeld is of course an ideal Alpine destination.

The Ötztal valley - One of Tyrol´s jewels
250 mountains more than 3,000 m high (including Austria´s highest mountain, the \"Wildspitze\"), the largest glacier ski area in the Eastern Alps and Tyrol´s tallest waterfall form a landscape of majestic beauty. Come and discover Tyrol´s longest side valley (60 km) and take advantage of the many activities in this region of superlatives...

Längenfeld. 1.180 m
Right in the central Ötztal Valley you find a large 20km long basin covered all in green, embedded in the stunning Alpine scenery under deep blue skies. We warmly welcome you to scenic Längenfeld at 1200m above sea level! Discover a picture-book landscape of outstanding natural beauty and indulge all your senses in this lovely holiday region. What’s more, the village also has the ultimate Aqua Dome, Tyrol’s first and only Thermal Spa Center.
