Another Iconic Event for Emeco Tourism...

October 2014

On September 21st L’Oréal arrived in Dubai with 2300 delegates from all over the globe to showcase its latest hair fashions that will be introduced to the market in early 2015.

This was an operation known to be among the most difficult & sophisticated forum operation ever, since each country delegation, ranging between 5- 300 clients, had its own program during the day, while they all meet over an evening event.

“Considering the increased number of participants this year, that had never exceeded 1800 clients, this was the best operation we've experienced since we launched this forum 10 years ago,” said the head of the L’Oreal organizing committee, "This was a masterpiece.”

Over 50% of the room capacity of the World Trade Center apartments, the Conrad, the Fairmont, the Radisson Blu, the Novotel & the Ibis, located within walking distance to the convention center, in addition to the JW Marriott Marquis (the highest hotel in the world), were blocked to accommodate this prestigious event.

The world famous Cavalli Club & Lounge was the venue of the first evening after a cocktail reception in front of the convention center.

After exploring the cities of Dubai & Abu Dhabi on the second day and attending a couple of sessions, guests were escorted for dinner at the Sky Bubble Roof of Meydan, the venue of the world horse riding championship competition and known to be the widest hotel in the world. A special dancing floor was set with a panoramic view of the city of Dubai for those who wanted to extend their evening.

On the last night, a unique spot carefully selected in the desert of Dubai, surrounded by dunes, was the venue for the Gala Dinner. After three days setting up the camp with four discrete tents to accommodate the kitchens, 24 toilets and five different dancing floors, the venue was ready to welcome the largest seated dinner offered in the desert of Dubai... Upon their arrival through an alley lit by fire torches, guests were offered a cocktail reception at the camp entrance with thousands of candle set on the dunes. Following the dinner, the dancing Dervishes, belly dancer, an oriental show and a DJ entertained the guests.

“This was another ICON added to our portfolio,” said Karim Aly, the General Manager of Emeco Tourism in the Emirates…
