Paris & France

Paris will have the pleasure of hosting the return of incentive groups that have previously enjoyed the great reception and hospitality that the city knows how to offer. Thanks to our first class downtown hotels, the city is able to accommodate these groups. Paris also features the excellent reception facilities of private dinner cruises, our fun fare museums and other Parisian favourites. Two popular venues not too far from Paris include the Castle of Chantilly and the Reims Champagne area, which is now easily reached by TGV train.

Every season sees a new slant in Paris – this last fall saw the opening of two new palaces in Paris, the Royal Monceau Raffles and the new Shangri Là, whilst awaiting the Mandarin Oriental and the W in 2011 and 2012.
Other chains have made considerable changes in their hotels parks – the Hilton near the Eiffel Tower now belongs to the Pullman chain and will soon undergo a major refit and the Le Meridien Montparnasse, one of the largest hotels in Paris, has also joined the Accor chain. The Hotel Lutetia was bought from Concorde in 2010 but they maintain the management contract. Radisson Blu has finalised the works on the Hotel Ambassador, well situated in the Opéra area and home to one of the best hotel restaurants in Paris - Le 16 Haussmann!

Holt Paris has a team of excellent English-speaking drivers who, together with our multi-lingual guides, make a tour of Paris the very best!
The novelties in Paris include many changes in the sightseeing pattern of the city – It is now easy to visit Paris by bicycle (the famous Velib has made this customer friendly), by rickshaw- style pedal car, by Segway or horse-drawn carriage and most recently by electric car with GPS determined one hour circuits!  Of course, the traditional mode of double-decker coaches and minibuses are still in hot demand.

Paris and France are still favourite venues for honeymooners and have recently become the in-place for marriage proposals. The prospective venues, especially in Paris, are limitless and include the traditional Eiffel Tower, an exclusive dinner cruise on the Seine just for two with the essential violinists of course, a hot air balloon on the Left Bank of the Seine or, for the more hardy lovers, the top of the big wheel on the Place de la Concorde overlooking the Louvre, the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. Why not come to Paris and try!?
For the next stage, the wedding, many of the numerous chateaux throughout France can now cater for the full organisation of the marriage ceremony!

We at Holt Paris are waiting to welcome you very soon and wish you a healthy and prosperous 2011!
