Spring Program

DAY1 (Friday)
Arrival transfer with the Blue Lagoon
Arrival to Keflavík international airport where the guide meets the group. From there straight to the Blue Lagoon in its otherworldly lava surroundings and stop there for approx. 1 hour for the swim of your lifetime, enjoying the luxurious comfort of the warm lagoon water. A special “Blue Lagoon” cocktail will be served during the bath by waiters/waitresses in old fashion swimming suits, a great way to get into the group spirit at the beginning of the trip. Blue Lagoon has added new spa additions to the geothermal spa. Waterfall, steam bath, sauna and an area designed for in-water Blue Lagoon spa massage and treatments are among the new additions. Waterfall with Blue Lagoon seawater adds a new dimension to the area. Guests can stand under the waterfall and experience light water massage. A play with lava, silica and lagoon creates an impressive frame around the steam bath where walls resemble white silica and the lagoon gently flows into part of the area. The bath’s saline steam makes breathing becomes easier. The sauna features glass windows making it easy for guests to enjoy view of the lagoon while relaxing in the sauna. Applying white Silica mud on face and body is for many an essential part of the Blue Lagoon experience.

Continuation to Reykjavik, check into the NORDICA hotel
Nordica hotel (former Hotel Esja) was renovated and re-opened in April 2003. Nordica offers 284 luxurious rooms in total, 40 junior suites and 1 presidential suite. The panorama rooms on the top floor offer spectacular view over the capital and its surroundings. Conference and banquette facilities accommodate up to 600 people. All conference and meeting rooms have daylight. The hotel has a first class health club with 8 treatment rooms. It houses two restaurants, a spacious bar, business lounge and a business centre. The NORDICA Hotel is considered to be one of the best hotels in Reykjavík, graded with 4 stars plus.

Transfer from the hotel to restaurant Einar Ben
The Einar Ben restaurant is located in one of the oldest trading buildings in Reykjavik. Einar Ben is named after one of the most remarkable Icelanders of recent times. The restaurant serves delicious food made from quality Icelandic ingredients: fish, seabirds, wild game and lamb. Service is relaxed but professional. The restaurant can cater for both large and small groups, with six rooms accommodating from eight up to forty guests. The rooms can be opened up, making possible to have groups of 100. On the top floor there is the Red Bar, which accommodates 100 guests. The ideal place for pre-drinks or after hour cocktails.

DAY2 (Saturday)
Individual breakfast at the hotel

Super Jeep Safari with glacier adventure
Morning departure in the specially modified 4X4 vehicles to national park, a remarkable geological phenomena and the most important historical site in Iceland.

The safari continues over to the Geysir hot spring area to discover the famous “Geysir” which has given its name to hot springs all over the world and see one of the most active geysers in the area, Strokkur, spouting up to 30 meters. Later on, at the Langjökull glacier, the Snowscooters are waiting along with helmets, overalls and boots (if needed).

After enjoying the “ride into the wilderness”, a hearty BBQ lunch is served

Then, leave the glacier to one of the most impressive waterfall in Europe, Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall). Here you will see thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down in a double-fall into a deep gorge, surely a powerful sight. On the our way to Reykjavík, short stop at a beautiful water filled extinct volcanic crater.

During the drive, a helicopter ride along the scenic way. The helicopter takes a load of 5 persons from the Super Truck for about 10-15 minutes sightseeing tour, then lands close to the Super Trucks to get the next load. NOTE! Requires very good weather conditions.

Transfer from the hotel to restaurant Iðnó
A restaurant set in The Reykjavík Theatre was run in Iðnó for nearly a century and soon became the dominant tenant of the building. However, the house was also used for political rallies, grand balls and other events.
