Icelandic glaciers as backdrops for any event

May 2006

Finding a unique venue for events is a constant challenge. This is especially true when working with well-traveled clients. You might be looking for a ballroom for an awards ceremony, a unique restaurant for a luncheon or dinner, or perhaps a chic club for private music sessions or even classical concerts.

Iceland can offer venues where the sky is literally the limit! Open-air buffets, for lunch or dinner, can be found on one of Iceland’s numerous glaciers. Buffet tables, as well as the seating area, are carved into the snow. The company’s logo can be carved into ice-sculptures or literally sprayed onto the snow. But that’s not the only thing we can offer on the glaciers. To further enhance the experience, we can carve out a stage and an amphitheatre for award ceremonies or product launches, or even set up a concert at the top of the glacier!

No man-made venue can beat the magnificent Icelandic glaciers on a good summer day – or summer evening for that matter, since Iceland enjoys bright summer nights during the summer. Would your clients ever forget spending an evening on top of the glacier, enjoying a fantastic buffet dinner, accompanied by musical entertainment, and feasting their eyes on the incredible landscape at their feet, following the sun as it bare touches the horizon before rising up again for the White Nights we enjoy so much during the summer months?
Does it get any more unforgettable and unique?
