Emilia Romagna in the spotlight

Last June the 7th, ITALO NTV, the new high-speed train company patronized by Ferrari president Luca Di Montezemolo, inaugurated the new Reggio Emilia “Mediopadana” station, situated between Milan and Bologna. The opening of this new station will facilitate the access to nearby Modena and Maranello, the birthplaces of world renowned Ferrari brand.

June the 11th 2013, Ferrari President Luca Di Montezemolo inaugurated the new Ferrari Museum in Maranello. The museum has been completely renovated and enlarged (over 1.000 square meter additional) and together with the permanent vehicle displays hosts special temporary exhibitions, such as the current “From Cinecittà to Hollywood: All Ferraris in the Movies”, which displays both movie videos and original vehicles, such as the Steve McQuenn 275 GTB4.

The museum also offers F1 driving-simulators, a new convention center and a dedicated area to watch the F1 championships races live, becoming a real multi-media, exclusive venue devoted to all Ferrari lovers in the world!

Italy Travelers’ Choice destinations award 2013

Italy has been recently appointed by Tripadvisor as the most awarded destination: the Top 10 World destination ranking, based on the opinion of millions of travelers, shows Rome at the 4th place, Venice at the 6th place and finally Florence at 8th place.

The same situation arises from the Best European destinations, ranking again Rome, Venice and Florence among the first ten, but showing also the Emilia Romagna region becoming more and more popular, with sea destinations like Cattolica, Bellaria-Igea Marina, Rimini and Riccione (all within the first 10 places).
