Expo Milano 2015...

More than twenty million visitors are expected to attend Expo Milano 2015, running for 184 days from May the 1st until October the 31st, 2015.
The Milan World Exposition will feature 144 countries and 3 international organizations (UN, CERN & EU Commission), meanwhile more than 500 international companies will be involved in the event,  including Accenture, BancaIntesa, Enel, FIAT, Chrysler, Samsung, Telecom, Coop, Eni just to mention few…

The Expo Milano 2015 is a non-commercial Universal Exposition with some very unique and innovative features. Not only is it an exhibition but also a process, one of active participation among a large number of players around the theme of Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. It is sustainable, technological, thematic and focused on its visitors. Expo Milano 2015 will be the first Exposition in history to be remembered not only for its products but also for its contribution towards education on food and the planet’s precious resources.

Visitors will experience a unique journey that looks at the complex theme of nutrition. They will have the possibility to take a trip around the world, sampling the food and traditions of people from all over the globe. The Expo features an open theatre, capable of accommodating 13.000 persons, 20 small fancy squares scattered amid the exhibition site and capable of holding up to 1.500 guests, the Expo centre for 3.000 persons and the main nine thematic Expo pavilions. During the Expo more than 4.000 special events and happenings will take place in Milan and at its fairgrounds, including a unique and engaging nightly show delivered by the celebrated Cirque du Soleil.

On the evening of April the 30th the Expo will be inaugurated by Giorgio Armani with a special fashion show, meanwhile famous tenor Andrea Bocelli, the Expo's “extraordinary ambassador”, will perform on stage with several other international stars.
