Oslo: The Ultimate Nobel Peace Prize Dinner Event

Looking for a unique, authentic themed dinner event?
The authentic Nobel Peace Prize Gala Dinner can be served to your clients every day of the year! December is a good month for Oslo as it becomes the centre stage of the world’s attention when the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded on Dec 10 every year.

Nobel Peace Prize 2014 was awarded jointly to Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai "for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education"

The Laureates are always staying at the famous Grand Hotel and the Official Gala Dinner on the eve of Dec 10 is always hosted there.

Grand Hotel
, the host of the Annual Nobel Price dinner invites the group to experience an Authentic Nobel Peace Prize Gala Dinner. Here the group will be served a genuine Nobel Peace Prize Menu in the same function room that is used for the Official Nobel Peace Prize Gala Dinner – The Mirror Room.

The client may pre-book any Nobel menu ever served. Some kind of gimmick can be incorporated here, for example «Nobel Prizes» to participants that have done something/had something happen to him/her to during the stay in Norway.
Or the company can have some sort of gifts handed out to all participants.

We can also make arrangements to have a lecturer from the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo to give a talk on the history and importance of the Nobel Awards. Afterwards, there will be opportunity to dance to a live band.

The menu price includes authentic Nobel Peace Prize table and glassware set-up, decorations, flowers, aperitif, wines during dinner, brandy with the coffee and servants with white gloves.

Bergen: The Norwegian Fjords Gateway

The Ultimate Seafood Event

Board a private boat for a 35 min cruise in the archipelago south of Bergen.

Western Norway's coastline is long and varied, broken by countless islands, skerries and fjords. The contrasts between open sea and narrow fjords cutting far inland are immense, providing an ideal pre-dinner cruise experience.

The cruise will end at a small island called Holmen where a unique seafood restaurant is located. Cornelius Seafood Restaurant is a unique and popular dining destination on the north-west side of island Bjorøy, with spectacular views of the fjord and islands close to Bergen.

Here – the group may enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience: On arrival, the  guests are welcome on the quay with oysters and drinks.  The shellfish farmer presents and offers samples from the water tanks: oysters, scallops, mussels, lobster, as well as several types of fish and sea urchins. Guests may dine in one of the three restaurants  areas indoors or on the terrace restaurant area. The quay bar is an informal meeting place. Their wine cellar is unbeatable!

After dinner, return cruise back to Bergen!

The Ultimate Majestic Fjords Excursion Event

If you have clients looking for that unforgettable fjord experience which showcases all of the unique features of the world famous Norwegian nature in one single excursion, read on…

Norway is the land of natural contrasts with both weather exposed rough coast lines, high mountain peaks with glaciers and sheltered fjords with spectacular waterfalls  and  lush green valleys. This can be a challenge to showcase in one single day as it involves great geographic distances. However, if your clients have a budget for it, nothing is impossible!

It started off with a 45 minutes seaplane flight from downtown Bergen to the heart of the king of fjords – the Sognefjord, 150 kilometers inland. The Sognefjord is the longest fjord in the world as it extends 250 kilometers from the coast line. This fjord area features 2000 meters high snow caped mountains plunging into the sea, with strong waterfalls with turquoise glacier water.

The seaplanes land in a picturesque fjord village where a private boat wil be waiting to take the guests on a 1 hour cruise into the Naeroy Fjord, which was included on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005 and was rated in 2009 by the National Geographic Magazine as the number 1 destination in the world to visit.

The cruise endes at a small farm with no road connection located in this fjord for a sheep event and farmer interaction.

After this sheep farm visit, the guests will continue for another 35 min by boat to the base of the Naeroyfjord, at the beautiful fjord settlement of Gudvangen.

Gudvangen or Gudvangr, which means “The field of the gods by the water”, is situated at the end of the Nærøy Fjord (Sogn, Aurland Kommune) in Norway. The 30 km long Nærøy valley is part of the Unesco World Heritage since year 2006.

Here, the clients can enjoy a Viking lunch at the Gudvangen Viking Hotel and a  interactive experience of  “real” Vikings and learning about their daily life, traditions and stories. The visitors can see how the Vikings made their weapons, crafts and boats, try to row a Vikingship, take part at archery and Viking sward fights, join forgotten sports or historical board games, listen to ancient sagas and of course to taste Viking food made in iron cauldrons and drinks like the sweet old brews in a drinking horn.

After the Viking lunch, the seaplanes will arrive to bring the guest back to Bergen on a 35 min flight.
