Events Division Makes It Happen

Detecting the need for specialized entities capable of designing and implementing the most sophisticated of events, the Spanish Heritage Group created, some time ago, a separate company called SHE EVENTS & OTHERS, which takes care of the creation, development and operation of special themed events all over Spain.

From the concept to the event design, including decoration, printing, lighting, audio-visual, entertainment and catering, SHE EVENTS & OTHERS can provide a full inventory of services related to event organizing.

An example of unusual events organized was a gala dinner for 1.000 guests at a huge Train Station, with passenger trains running during part of the dinner.

Spanish Heritage undertook the execution of the whole project which included the theme, the decoration, the lighting, the sound, the entertainment and the catering.

An example about the amount of detail is that the centerpieces for the more than 90 tables consisted of a 2 meters high branch, with tiny flowers, tied by hand one by one. Olive trees were also moved in for the occasion to provide a Mediterranean atmosphere. 22 buses were used for the transfers.

Luxury Resort in Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of the seven islands in the Canaries archipelago. It is situated at about 300 km. (186 miles) off the North western African coast and it has Spain’s highest peak, the Teide, an old volcano, which rises at 3.718 meters above sea level (12.200 ft.), the world’s third largest.
In spite of its latitude and vicinity to the Sahara desert, the island of Tenerife enjoys a mild climate year round due to a cold stream and a micro climate which averages minimum temperatures of 18 C (65 F)  in winter and 22 C (72 F) in summer.
Most of the new hotels are situated on the southern and western coasts of the island, and it has a busy and very convenient International airport.

One of the relatively new additions to the list of deluxe hotels is the Abama Hotel and Resort, a short 30 minutes transfer from the International Airport.

The five Stars Deluxe Abama occupies an estate of 160 hectares (395 acres), with a main building and several villas with an ethnical design, which include the use of local woods, vivid colors and large water landscapes. The complex has an 18 holes golf course, with an amazing view towards the neighboring island of La Gomera, a state of the art spa and a nice beach accessible via a cable car.

A total of 300 rooms and 120 luxury villas, are served by eight restaurants, with different specialties, ranging from a salad by one of the pools, to the highly sophisticated gourmet fare or contemporary Japanese. The 3 stars Michelin chef Martin Berasategui is responsible for the quality and creativity of the gastronomy at the Abama, with the exception of the Japanese restaurant.

Spanish Heritage runs programs at the resort, and has many suggestions for off-site activities including whale and dolphin watching sorties and excursions to the Teide Volcano National Park.
