Switzerland is famous for its stunning scenery and what better way to enjoy this than by train! We’ve put together a 7 nights / 8 day program that gives your clients an opportunity to experience the best scenic train rides that Switzerland has to offer!

Day 1 - Train Journey: Zurich - St. Moritz
Start your journey at Zurich Airport where you will be given all the information you need for your Swiss scenic train adventure. After a quick change of trains in Zurich catch an express train to Chur passing the scenic Lake Zurich and Lake Walen with it\'s towering mountains. In Chur change once more to the famous red trains of the Rhaetian Railways and enjoy one of the most beautiful railway routes in the world! End up at the world famous resort town of St. Moritz.

Day 2 - Glacier Express: St. Moritz - Zermatt
The Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Zermatt in Switzerland is one of the great train journeys in the world. From Piz Bernina to the Matterhorn. A 7 1/2 hour railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 metres in altitude. A panoramic trip through the Alps in the heart of Switzerland. The Glacier Express travels a beautiful route between the sights of the Graubünden holiday region, the sunny Valais region with its glacier landscape, and the beautiful regions of the South. Travel in comfort through the unspoilt natural beauty of a landscape rich in ancient, fragrant mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and mountain valleys, soaked in tradition and centuries-old culture.

Day 3 - Zermatt – Day at leisure
The car-free resort of Zermatt is situated in the south-west of Switzerland at an altitude of 1,620 metres above sea level. This idyllic Valais village in the Matter Valley nestles amidst an impressive landscape of mountains and glaciers and enjoys a fantastic panorama of 38 four-thousand-meter peaks. Zermatt is an international meeting place, famous for the Matterhorn, its healthy climate and the large variety of things it has to offer to tourists.

Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, high-altitude tours and summer skiing are popular attractions both in summer and in the colourful autumn. More than 1,000 different types of plants adorn the lush mountain meadows above Zermatt.

Day 4 - Train Journey: Zermatt - Montreux
From the mountainous Zermatt at 1,620 metres take the train to the lakeshores of Lake Geneva and the famous resort of Montreux (375 metres) changing trains once along the way.

Day 5 - Golden Pass Panoramic Express: Montreux - Interlaken
Leaving Montreux, the line rises above Lake Geneva allowing a full view of the magnificent landscape of the Lake Region as it spreads out. At Jaman, it plunges through a tunnel into the mountains, changing valleys and heading for the world famous resorts of Châteaux d’Oex and Gstaad. The line attains its culminating point (1,274m) before reaching Zweisimmen. Change trains to the resort of Interlaken.

Day 6 - Jungfraujoch * Top of Europe *
Direct mountain train journey to Lauterbrunnen changing to the cogwheel train for Kleine Scheidegg (6,870 ft). Board the high Alpine train for a memorable experience traveling through tunnels beside glaciers to the summit of the Jungfrau (11,333 ft.). Highest Train station in Europe. Enjoy a lunch at leisure. Return via the delightful ski resort of Grindelwald with time to explore before returning to Interlaken by train!

Day 7 - Lucerne
Situated in the very heart of Switzerland, on the Western shore of Lake Lucerne, Lucerne has long been popular with visitors who come to enjoy its promenade, its magnificent mountain setting and the atmosphere of relaxation.
Discover on your own the old town and the magnificent old painted houses, the famous wooden bridge, the lion monument and also the transport museum.

Half day Excursion to Mt. Pilatus - Regular Service
Short bus journey to Kriens. You take a ride with the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to Mount Pilatus (7,000 ft / 2,132 m). From here you will enjoy an unforgettable view over the surrounding mountains and lakes. Descend on the world\'s steepest cogwheel railway* (48% gradient) to Alpnachstad. Unforgettable boat ride on Lake Lucerne. Entire tour with multi-lingual guide.

DAY 8 - Train Journey: Lucerne - Zurich
A short train journey will take you back to Zurich in time to catch your flight
