Experience hospitality in the highest degree!

This is the seventh year that the Formula One Grand Prix has taken place in Istanbul.

Istanbul Park, one of the newer tracks added to the Formula One season, was described as “the greatest track ever built” by Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of the Formula One Administration. It is one of only three races that runs counter-clockwise (the Brazilian and San Marino Grand Prix being the other two) and commands the respect of all the drivers. The track is located 56 miles (90km) from the city center.

THY Passengers will experience comfort in
“Comfort Class” at reasonable rates…

“Comfort Class” is the new class positioned between economy and business class. The purpose is to combine the convenience of business class with economy’s reasonable rates.

Comfort class appeals to passengers who currently fly economy but would appreciate more spacious leg room, more onboard catering and better in-flight entertainment options without the cost of a business class seat. In summary, comfort class appeals to our economy class passengers who desire an even higher level of comfort.

Turkish Airlines offers comfort class service on its new fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft. The number of 777s will increase to twelve aircraft within the fleet. As of today, three of these aircraft are in service and this number will soon increase to five by the end of the year. With more 777 deliveries on the way, the full fleet of twelve is expected to be in service by September 2011. The aircraft has a total seating capacity of 337 – 28 in business, 63 in comfort and 246 in economy class.

777s with the comfort class option started to operate on the Beijing, Sao Paulo and Toronto routes at the end of 2010. The aircraft will be regularly operating on the Guangzhou, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Tokyo routes by the first half of 2011, and New York and Hong Kong by the second half of 2011.
