the key destination for the incentive travel recovery era
Put Marbella top of your list of incentive destinations for when ‘this’ is all over.
While no incentive travel is happening this year, we strongly believe that, once the world gains some stability, people will travel again and the incentive trips will return stronger than ever. For no gift certificate or virtual tour can compare to the authentic in-person destination experience!
As we all find ourselves in this «sit & wait» position, it would be wise enough to take this opportunity to come up with the «Incentive Destinations Shortlist» for 2022 and onwards. Marbella in Costa del Sol (the shoreline region in the south of Spain) must definitely be on your travel radar because of its resort-like vibe, warm climate that is pretty similar to the one in southern California and, of course, because its hotel scene will for sure become one-of-a-kind in the upcoming couple of years!
Hilton announced the signing of an agreement to open the Conrad Costa del Sol – a 194 room luxury resort set to bring a new level of contemporary luxury to the Andalusian coast. The property – owned by Markway Inversiones S.L., a company of the Platinum Estates Group, will be managed by Hilton and is set to open at the beginning of 2022. It will be Hilton’s first Conrad property in Spain.
And…
Villa Padierna Hotels & Resorts and the international brand Four Seasons are preparing what is expected to be the greatest luxury property in Spain. The Four Seasons hotel in Marbella is placed on the land next to Rio Real Golf & Hotel, on one of the best beaches in the area and a stunning mountain landscape as backdrop. The property will also carry a very prestigious architectural seal. Renowned architect Richard Meier, holder of the Pritzker prize, has been tasked with the design of the new establishment.
The already existing properties in Marbella are also getting some updates! The Anantara Villa Padierna Palace resort has announced its incorporation in «The Leading Hotels of the World» collection just a year ago. And, of course, the stunning properties like Puente Romano Beach Resort and Gran Meliá Don Pepe are always a great choice for an incentive program.
Meanwhile, W luxury hotel chain is planning to open the W Hotel Marbella a new 200-bed luxury resort on the beach at Real de Zaragoza, Marbella and is rumored to cost €300 million. Altogether, the resort will comprise 200 spacious guest rooms, including 26 suites and the Extreme Wow Suite, which is the brand’s take on a presidential suite. The resort will cater for events across five meeting rooms and a covered terrace spanning more than 10,000 sq ft. The Beach Club at W Marbella, meanwhile, is being designed to complement Marbella’s social scene.
Looks like you have a hard choice to make as all the options are amazing! You can also start thinking of your “Flamenco” evening and browse the online shops for some nice beachwear to pamper at Marbella´s beach clubs next to the celebrities.
