When is the best time to visit Greece?

Avoid July and August as they are the busiest months for leisure travellers. Greek islands are great from April to November, and Athens is truly a year-round destination.

What is the most popular itinerary?

For incentive trips, a combination of Athens and Mykonos is definitely a popular choice. Explore Athens by day and by night, before travelling to Mykonos for days 3 and 4.

Which is the largest island in Greece?

Crete is the largest island and a destination in its own right. From the scenic Chania with its picturesque harbour to the ancient palace of Knossos outside Heraklion, and great accommodation options for groups, Crete does have it all. It caters from leisure groups to large congresses.

How do you travel form Athens to the islands

The port of Piraeus will have many daily ferries to the most popular islands, and the most popular of these will also have airports where you can usually get a connecting flight from Athens or in some cases fly directly to major European hubs. Flights will be usually around 30-40 minutes, while traveling by ferry can take up to 6-7 hours depending on the island.

    What is your favourite island?

Skopelos in the Sporades, its best travelled to while sailing from Skiathos, and makes a good combination with Alonisos.

How many offspring did Zeus, ruler of the ancient Gods have?

Too many to count, but many Greek towns will usually have a story about how they were founded so many thousands of years ago by one or another of his descendants.
