World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit is the travel industry’s most important event attended by top executives of the industry from government, destination marketing, travel management, airlines, hospitality organizations, media and other stakeholder groups. They convene annually to discuss and evaluate major issues of the travel industry and collaboratively move forward matters of significance and sustainable strategy for the benefit of the industry as well as travelers as a whole. Attendance is by invitation only. The Global Summit 2017 took place in Bangkok, Thailand during April 26-27 at the Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld.
The event was recognized by AFECA - Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations at the 2018 Annual General Meeting in Goyang. Korea and was awarded First Place - Outstanding Convention/Congress.
