At the recent Annual General Meeting of AFECA - Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations of which AFECA Awards is one of the main features, the First Place of Outstanding Congress/Convention was awarded to WTTC Global Summit 2017.

World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit is the travel industry’s most important event attended by top executives of the industry from government, destination marketing, travel management, airlines, hospitality organizations, media and other stakeholder groups. They convene annually to discuss and evaluate major issues of the travel industry and collaboratively move forward matters of significance and sustainable strategy for the benefit of the industry as well as travelers as a whole. Attendance is by invitation only.  The Global Summit 2017 took place in Bangkok, Thailand during April 26-27 at the Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld.

CDM is honored to represent World Travel and Tourism Council to receive the prestigious award during the AFECA AGM and Awards event in Goyang, Korea.
Having received the First Place recognition is testimony of the significance of the Summit and the event’s contribution to the travel industry.
