Our books show that since the opening of the Louvre Museum, the demand for on Abu Dhabi as destination was doubled comparing to the last 2 years. This last addition put Abu Dhabi on the map of the most attractive destinations, we have seen this tremendous change in the French and Benelux markets. Last month Emeco Tourism organized a FAM trip for the French Market to Abu Dhabi with the partnership of Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi for Culture and Tourism, Jumeirah Group and Emirates Palace Hotel. All participants enjoyed a mix of adventure and culture activities during the 4 days program.

Jumeirah to Operate a New Luxury Destination In Abu Dhabi
Jumeirah, the global luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, today announced it has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi United Hospitality LLC to develop Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi. Expected to welcome guests from September 2018, Al Wathba Desert Resort will be developed by leading hospitality company, Abu Dhabi United Hospitality and operated by Jumeirah.
A luxurious, quintessential Arabian-style hotel set in the desert 50 km to the south east of Abu Dhabi in the Al Wathba District, Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort will be a key addition to Abu Dhabi’s and UAE’s luxury hospitality offering. Spread over an area of more than 20,000 meters square, it will comprise of 90 hotel rooms and 13 villas, with complementary premium facilities including all-day-dining, pool and rooftop bars, Talise spa and an offsite desert camp along with other leisure options as well as conference and meeting facilities. Set against a backdrop of pristine sand, the Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort aims to provide a luxurious and holistic experience of the Arabian hospitality set within a classic Arabian ambience. With this strategic addition, Jumeirah will expand its luxury portfolio, which currently extends to 20 luxurious hotels and resorts around the world. First floating hotel has opened in Dubai
The legendary Queen Elizabeth 2 ocean liner finally opened on Wednesday, April 18 as a magnificent hotel in Dubai. Docked permanently at Port Rashid, the ship feature 13 restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The 13-deck hotel boasts 224 refurbished rooms and suites, Each of the QE2’s cabins and suites feature either the original portholes, floor-to-ceiling-windows or balconies that peer out onto the Arabian Gulf or Dubai’s skyline.
The Queen Elizabeth 2 lobby is a home to an interactive museum portraying the origins of the QE2, reproducing three iconic spaces from the ship: the bridge, a first class cabin and the Queens Room. Guests also find casual and fine dining options, along with several nightlife destinations. A spa and pool deck are also in the works…The Queen Elizabeth 2 ship first set sail in 1967 and was considered to be an engineering marvel. Over the years, the ship has welcomed guests including Nelson Mandela, Elizabeth Taylor, Buzz Aldrin and David Bowie. In her lifetime the QE2 would complete 1,400 voyages before retiring in 2008.
