And discover the Diamond amongst all other Jewels...

In the south west of Ireland is a provence that’s arguably most famous for it’s hugely succesful Rugby Union team of the same name, Munster.

Their home games are played at Thomond Park in Limerick, right in the centre of Munster. Limerick is very well situated. It’s on the mouth of the river Shannon and literally bordering with all the other counties of Munster. Clare, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary & Waterford, each offering amazing sights, culture and activites.
But few places are as pretty or admired as much as Adare in Co. Limerick.

Adare is a small town (or village) just 18km drive south of Limerick City on the road to Tralee, Co. Kerry. It has won many prestigeous ‘Tidy Town’ awards over the years and is designated as a Heritage Town.
With its beautifully thatched roof cottages, traditional-lively pubs and antique stores, it’s clear the residents are extremely proud. They are also incredibly friendly, making Adare a very popular place for people who want to escape the big city, disconnect and enjoy a genuine warm welcome.

Just before you enter Adare village when travelling from Limerick, on the left you’ll pass the ruins of the 13th century Desmond Castle then you’ll approach the entrance to the 5 Star Adare Manor Hotel, one of the most luxurious properties in all of Europe.
Go through the large pillars & along the winding private road inside the 840 acres of pristine parkland until you reach the stunning Manor, which is just complete from an extensive twenty-one month renovation.
Immediately you’ll be taken back by the condition and detail of the Tudor-revival style limestone architecture, also the pristine and beautifully manicured gardens surrounding the manor. Step inside & you’ll feel like you have arrived. The detail and craftsmanship are evident at every turn or glance.

It’s not unusual for residents to check-in and never leave the grounds during their stay as they would want for nothing more. Other than being a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Adare Manor caters for almost any experience you can think of.

People come from all over to visit Adare Manor for the gourmet experience, spa break, golf getaway, falconry, archery, fishing, game shooting, horse riding and many other experiences. But it is also a show-stopping venue for social or business events. The Grand Ballroom is one of Irelands most impressive banqueting and conference spaces. There’s an executive boardroom with fantastic views over the golf course and the river Maigue. The Manor House Library for private dining and also a luxurious 28-seat cinema for private screenings of whatever movies you wish to screen for your guests.

Adare Manor really is a special place and it’s also very accessible for international visitors. Shannon Airport is only 25 minutes away, Cork Airport approximately 90 minutes away, even Dublin Airport is only a little over 2 hours away.

Is Adare the Jewel of Limerick? Unquestionably. The Jewel of Ireland?  Quite possibly. This must make Adare Manor the diamond amongst all other jewels.
