Mr euromic Egypt appointed VP on the SITE Board

We are pleased and proud that our long serving colleague and member – and one time president – Karim el Minabawy, of euromic Egypt, Emeco Travel has been appointed to the prestigious role of VP, Finance and Sponsorship at SITE.

Karim was elected to this position, following his joining the SITE board last year, at the first face-to-face SITE held in 18 months, in Paris, October 2021. He is in the prestigious company of Kevin Edmunds, Aoife Delaney, Colleen Brzozowski and Anne Marie Rogers as SITE’s elected Officers and Executive Committee for 2022. They will all be working towards celebrations to mark SITE’s 50th anniversary in 2023 – the same year, and years, as us at euromic, as we will mark our 50 years.

Karim’s summed up his reaction to the appointment simply with, “I was truly stunned but truly honoured by such an accolade”, adding that he was “very touched” by all the messages of congratulations he has received since the news was announced.
