Sail your group on the recently launched luxury dahabiya Aqua

Once the exclusive domain of the Egyptian royal family, dahabiyas – wooden sailboats with only two decks and shallow bottoms – have been an option for travellers on the Nile since the 19th century. The brand new Aqua is the latest to be launched, ready to take you and your group on a journey of unparalleled luxury and exclusivity along the Nile. Revelling in a unique blend of heritage grandeur and contemporary comfort, all will enjoy premium amenities, a high crew-to-guest ratio, world-class service, luxury cuisine and a tailor made itinerary for a contemplative and rejuvenating Nile cruise.

A sweet welcome addition to the pyramids

Ladurée, the beloved French patisserie, recently opened its latest location at the Pyramids’ Khufu Plateau. Nestled amidst one of the world’s last ancient wonders, Ladurée offers a world of their famed afternoon teas and pistachio and chocolate-laden macarons. Unlike Ladurée’s other branches, with their signature green theme outposts, this Pyramids branch embraces a neutral palette, harmonizing with the desert’s subtle tones and blending in effortless with the ancient landscape. The menu combines Ladurée’s century-old expertise with traditional Egyptian flavours, including the geometrically inspired Isis tart—a delightful blend of coconut and mango that pays homage to the pyramids. Our recommendation for a stop off for any incentive group that is taking in the pyramids as part of their programme.

See Luxor from a new angle, by hot air balloon

Luxor, the ancient city in the south of Egypt, has long been known as the world’s greatest open-air museum, and has been explored on foot by countless groups. We are delighted to be able to offer you and your group a view from a different and calm perspective.

No matter how big your group, Emeco can arrange for more than 20 balloons to take off at a time, each with an average capacity of 20 guests. After an early morning pickup your group will travel to the west bank of the Nile River, and board a shared balloon basket for a 30- to 45-minute flight to see the sun rise over some of Egypt’s most famous ancient monuments. As the balloons climb, all will be given a thrilling bird’s-eye view as the sunlight illuminates the temples and mountains below. Gaze down over Karnak, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple and other monuments, and embrace the peace and breathtaking views in this most exhilarating and unique of incentive activities.

The most popular gala dinner location

It is no surprise that our best selling and most asked for gala dinner venue is in the desert with a backdrop of three pyramids in the famous Giza Plateau. We have entertained many many guests here, thrilling them with an amazing event with this unique, historical and breathtaking backdrop.

Our most recent event saw us entertain 200 guests with the theme “The Mystery Night of Egypt”. As the group descended their transfer buses a light shone as a beacon from a tent in the distance.  Once they walked towards the light, they arrived at the specially erected marquee and were welcomed by local drummers, bagpipes and beautiful ladies dressed like Queen Cleopatra to escort them to their seats. Dinner was served while a harpist was playing soft Egyptian & international music, and then after dinner the party really started. The group danced and partied, lit up with the disco lights and strobes projected on the pyramids right behind the dance floor.

Just the type of gala dinner Emeco could arrange for your event or incentive celebration.
