What’s new and good to do in Singapore and Hong Kong
Two great new hotels perfect for adding a touch of class to your programme
The Artyzen, Singapore (5*)
The Artyzen Singapore is one of the most exciting new products we have seen in the Lion City. It is a modern luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Singapore just off the vibrant Orchard Road. Offering contemporary and stylish accommodations, what the hotel gives is a “sense of place.” Lofty ceilings with fans, balcony’s greenery and a rooftop bar and infinity pool.
You are in the city without being “in the city.” Each of its 142 rooms is thoughtfully designed and furnished. The hotel is ideal for small groups wanting a very private experience and is also open to a buy-out should your clients wish to “have it all to themselves.”
Our 3 words that best describe this property are: boutique, personalised, and spacious.
The Mondrian, Hong Kong (5*)
The Mondrian Hong Kong opened its doors in December 2023. It has 324 extremely well-designed rooms which include 12 suites. Centrally located in the vibrant district of Tsim Sha Tsui, it is very convenient for activities in Kowloon, lots of restaurants within walking distance and of course shopping.
One of the most attractive elements of Mondrian Hong Kong is the modern design with ingredients reflecting Hong Kong’s culture, with the local art being displayed. By staying there, you and your group will be impressed by the panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, its excellent service and the globally acclaimed restaurant and bar.
Our 3 words that best describe this property are: boutique, arty, and comfortable.
Waterproof your summer event
Hong Kong and Singapore are HOT in the Summer, so what better way to create a cool – in both senses of the word – party for your group than to take over a water theme park. Hong Kong’s home-grown theme park, Water World can be bought out as a whole or just in parts to give your guests a great fun evening event. Add DJ’s, dancing, food and beverages to make this a memorable event… and it is “waterproof.” It can go ahead rain or shine.
In Singapore, the same can be done at the exciting Wild Wild Wet theme park. It’s a great exciting venue to have your very own private party for your group, and we can build the programme of your dreams to make it truly fun and memorable for all… and given Singapore is summer all year round, there really is no limit on when in the year you can do this!
Our recommendations to make your event and incentive trip shine like stars!
Singapore – Musicals at the MBS
The Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands showcases an exciting array of musicals that you can incorporate into your events. Building musicals into your event programme is a fantastic way to engage audiences and create a memorable experience.
Upcoming musicals at Sands Theatre worth considering are:
Miss Saigon (15 Aug – 22 Sept): Set during the Vietnam War, this tragic tale of a doomed romance involves an Asian woman abandoned by her American lover. The musical has captured audience imaginations since its debut in September 1989.
SIX (14 Nov – 1st Dec): Direct from West End and Broadway, the six wives of Henry VIII will take the stage in the international smash hit musical.
To enhance your MUSICAL Xperience we can help you to include:
· “Best Dressed” competitions
· Pre-theatre cocktails
· Post-theatre dinners
· Backstage visits (subject to approval and numbers)
· Dinner theming in line with the musical’s theme and costumes
A truly unforgettable evening awaits if you choose to add a musical into the mix…
Hong Kong – On the water
There are so many options for groups to make the most of the vast volume of water we have in Hong Kong. Here are just a few of our suggestions:
Enjoy an evening Cocktail Cruise on Aqua Luna, Star Ferry or the Dukling. There is no better way to enjoy Hong Kongs unique and breathtaking cityscapes than on one of these boating options with an ice-cold drink in hand with a cooling breeze in your hair.
How about cruising Hong Kong’s bays or islands? Hong Kong has 263 islands with 20 listed as Districts (or occupied). The Bays of Hong Kong South side of the Kowloon peninsula’s East Coast offer some great spots to stop, dive in the refreshing water for a swim. Add speed boats for added watersports and enjoy a drink and snack or even lunch. You may also stop for a great local seafood lunch on Lamma, Peng Chau or Cheng Chau Islands.
Enjoy a water sports activity such as Dragon Boating or just enjoy the beach. Hong Kong is home to a number of beautiful great beaches such Repulse Bay, Stanley, Shek O and Big Wave Bay. All these beaches have different dining options as well from local establishments to Al Fresco Cafes.
