Zanzibar is a part of Tanzania. Tanzania is the mainland with the National Parks and Zanzibar the exotic spices island with the beautiful beaches. So once you apply for a visa to Tanzania you also have access to Zanzibar as it is one country. Actually the name of the country comes from “Tan” for Tanganyika and Zan from Zanzibar and it is a federated country.
Like many African countries Tanzania has a great need for basic facilities, and you have plenty of opportunities for CSR programs for improving local living conditions especially with schools, hygiene, energy, and education. The possibilities are unlimited and many of them can be realized with a small budget like: Tree planting, build or repaint a classroom, build a school toilet, donate books for the school library, donate tablets or desktop PC for the school, help build small road bridges or an irrigation system, provide mini solar panels to produce electricity, etc.
Because only in Tanzania you are assured wildlife viewing all months with cumulant moments the largest migration of the world at Northern Serengeti and the calving period at South Serengeti, without forgetting the world wonder of Ngorongoro Crater. Nowhere else you can build a program combining trekking at the highest mountain of Africa, Kilimanjaro, with game viewing at the immense plain of the National parks, and cooling off at the exotic beaches of Zanzibar.
The hotel infrastructure is excellent with a choice of 5 to 4 star hotels and lodges, ideal for small groups with the necessary social distancing, to make you feel unique and safe.
No cases have been reported for almost one year. The Government took early severe measures to contain the epidemic with strict controls at all entry points and all the necessary strict protocols for all hotel and transportation infrastructure. The combination of vast open spaces, sparsely populated, with the natural social distancing, have helped the country to avoid the spread of contamination and business is as usual in the big cities, and lodges, with the tourists who continue visiting Tanzania feeling safe
