    Victor says:

While still studying at the Barcelona University’s Law School, I made my first acquaintance with travel industry thanks to the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. My first international work experiences with companies like Disney and Royal Caribbean led me to acquire knowledge on logistics and customer experience and, eventually, to get involved in the MICE industry. During the past 20 years I’ve been lucky enough to organize successful events for some of the top 500 Forbes companies. I am passionate about design and architecture -and am a World ambassador for the Mediterranean lifestyle.

    Kind words.

How well is Spain connected by air with the rest of the world?

Spain is one of the top 3 most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Therefore, no wonder there are so many international airports connecting the country not only to all parts of Europe, but to the other parts of the world as well.

Spain has 4 main airports: Barcelona-El Prat (BCN), Madrid-Adolfo Suarez (MAD), Malaga-Costa del Sol (AGP) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI).

What is the best season to visit Spain?

Spain is a country with a mild climate all year round but still preserves its seasonal contrasts.
The mildest temperatures are in spring and autumn, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors practically the whole day long. So, the ideal period of bringing a group to Spain is between May and September.

Maximum temperatures are reached during the months of July and August, which are hot and dry throughout the whole country. The coldest temperatures occur during the months of December, January and February, which are the months with the most rainfall, mainly in the north of Spain.

Can you host big events in Spain?

Absolutely, yes! Spain hosts some of the most important large-scale events in Europe, such as the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona or the Annual European Congress of Rheumatology in Madrid.

Both cities have all the necessary accommodation and meetings infrastructures to cater for all the needs of a large event.

    Where in Spain?

There is no right answer to this one… Every region of Spain is unique and attractive in its very own way.

If you are looking for a beach destination with a resort vibe, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands or Marbella are a great choice. Barcelona has a mix of beach & urban.

Madrid offers vibrant nightlife and Sevilla is where you discover the essence of Spain.

And if you are hunting for Michelin-star food and some of the best wines in the world, the Basque Country and La Rioja are your destination.

Which is the best way to move around Spain?

There are excellent air connections between the major Spanish cities. All flights are shorter than two hours (except to the Canary Islands). For instance, you can get from Barcelona to Mallorca in just 50 minutes!

In addition, there are around 16,000 kilometers of fast roads and high speed trains (AVE) connecting major destinations such as Barcelona, Seville or Valencia with Madrid in three hours, or less.
