Premio DMC commits to environmental initiative

euromic Costa Rica, Premio DMC has some exciting news to share! Starting August 21, 2024, Costa Rica will be implementing the “Law to Combat Plastic Pollution and Protect the Environment N°9786.” This new law aims to get rid of single-use plastics like straws, bags and bottles, helping the country and our visitors move us towards a greener future.

At Premio DMC, we support this initiative whole heartedly and will do our best to comply and support sustainable tourism where we can, including offering reusable bottles to each participant at the beginning of their program with us.

These bottles come in solid colours, which participants can personalize with fun nature stickers as they fill up for the first time at our Water Bottle Station during hotel check-in. It’s a great way to stay hydrated and cut down on plastic waste.
